Serine (real name Lee Serine, born February 27, 1997) is a South Korean singer-songwriter and creative director. She uses her voice to orchestrate emotions, set the scene, and bring out the narrative hidden in silence. She sings like an engineer of emotion, moving freely from whisper-quiet tones to crisp, powerful notes. She is not just a performer, but a creative artist who builds a three-dimensional flow of music, visuals, and emotion.

In 2020, she debuted as a member of the five-member girl group Cherrish, where she took on a delicate and warm image and stood out with her clear, soft vocal tone. After building his own emotional language since the group's disbandment, he took his first steps as a solo artist in November 2023 with the single "Unspoken." The song, themed around 'unspoken emotions,' opened up a new chapter in his narrative, capturing the inner turmoil with an unconventional and mysterious sound that belied its quiet title.

Her first EP, "Shadow & Beam," released on February 23, 2024, explored the tension and balance between shadow and light, stillness and emanation. For this project, Serine was involved in the sound, artwork, styling, and video direction, and she was able to synthesize her emotions into a visual narrative.

Onstage, Serine does not define form. She plays freely with flow and space, density and speed, and creates tension even in stillness. Her moods, which combine tenderness and intensity, sweetness and coolness, soon become a style and a scene. It may begin with a whisper, but it always ends with a haunting resonance: that's Serine.
